Yes, similiar to Mournful Congregation but more staightforward. Heavy just about all the time. Much less fluff than MC. Better growls, too. The production lends the music a majestic feel. The only thing I don't like are the rare spoken word bits. If the next release has more of those I'll address them as Mopey Wanderer (... I mean it). You can trust Germans to put the fun in funeral doom. tr_🇺🇦

The album art covers it all, a slow vast river reflecting the everlasting grey skies. During 'The Lonely Road...' there is a moment, atmospherically reminding me of Lynches Twin Peaks. Marty
